Cox CXO300 300 HP Diesel Outboard

The CXO300’s journey began in 2007 when Cox Powertrain set out to revolutionise the marine market by developing a high-performance diesel outboard engine. It was important for Cox to not only build an outboard that is fit for purpose but also one that is clean-burning and light- weight in design.

To achieve this, Cox began designing and developing the outboard from a blank sheet of paper. After 13 years of research and development, and with £140M of private investment, this resulted in a uniquely designed, purpose built, 300hp diesel outboard engine – the CXO300.

Having begun production in May 2020, the CXO300 is being sold worldwide to commercial, governmental and recreational users and is redefining standards in marine propulsion.
